Creative Movements Cambridge
Michelle trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, after many years of dance training and working on theatre productions in Northern Ireland.
Having worked for many different early-years and pre-school companies, Michelle was particularly inspired by the Creative Movements Ethos and felt enthusiastic to work with children through the art of story telling and movement.
Michelle loves the inclusive nature of the classes and is filled with joy when children immerse themselves in the story and join her in a world of creativity and discovery. The children develop at their own pace and discover a firm sense of self without the pressures of exams, medals, rewards, or competition.
Jasmine is the newest member of our team, and will be leading classes, workshops, and parties for Michelle while she is away on maternity leave.
Jasmine is originally from Cornwall, but has lived in Cambridge on and off for around six years. She did a PGCE in Early Years at Cambridge in 2015, and has worked as a Reception/Year 1 class teacher in a local primary school. She is a trained singer, performing with a number of jazz bands in both London and Cambridge, and she sings regularly as a chorister in Downing College Chapel Choir. She also enjoys swing dancing, art, and crafts in her free time. In October 2017, Jasmine will be returning to Cambridge University to study a part-time Masters in Education, Arts, and Creativity. She is excited to start her own adventure with Creative Movements Cambridge this year.
“The class gives Eli an opportunity to explore and develop his imagination, which, clearly he loves. I’m not very confident, so it’s wonderful to see him confident, carefree and dancing about."
“Our 4-year-old looks forward to his CM class every week. He leaves the session brimming with energy and enthusiasm! I’m so glad we found CM."
“I have no words to express my gratitude for such an excellent job you did for Lorena’s party. She totally L O V E D I T! You’re truly gifted”.
